Do you have any retail locations?

DreamStone has a showroom in the diamond district in midtown New York City and in Huntington Long Island, New York where you can make an appointment to sit one-on-one with a jeweler to look at loose diamonds, settings and other fine jewelry. We also have satellite offices in Florida (Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Fort Lauderdale, and Miami) where you we can schedule a personal viewing. You should make an advance appointment to let us know whatever specifications you'd like to see, like the diamond shape, budget, etc... This allows us to truly prepare a customized viewing for you.

While we mostly operate an online business, our unique business model allows us to offer online discounted pricing while giving you the opportunity to view your diamond ring at one of our physical offices before your buy it. Do I need to make an appointment to see a diamond or setting?

Yes, especially for loose diamonds. You should make an advance appointment and provide us with some information about the diamond and setting you are considering. If you're unsure and are just in the primarily stages, its okay, just give us some basic information like your favorite shape and perhaps your rough budget. This gives us a chance to customize your viewing and prepare the right diamonds for you to see & compare. Whereas, traditional stores would just show you what they have in stock, we have access to some of the world's best diamond vendors and we spend significant time researching the best options on the market for your appointment. This makes for a really productive meet.

The DreamStone team spans three-generations with locations in New York and Florida. We started as miners and cutters, in Johannesburg, South Africa and eventually expanded to jewelry with our own facilities in New York. Insurance and Extended Service

Do you provide an insurance apprasial?

Yes, absolutely, every single engagement ring or piece of jewelry purchased at DreamStone is accompanied by an insurance appraisal. We use a certified GIA gemologist to appraise the rings / jewelry which you can use to submit to any insurance company of your choice.
Do you provide any cleaning or maintenance services?

We offer free cleaning every six-months to all jewelry purchased from DreamStone. You can also bring your jewelry to our New York office for free prong tightening, polishing, rhodium plating, and cleaning. This service requires at least two business days and we recommend making an appointment to drop off. If you're out-of-state, you would just be responsible for the shipping costs and the cleaning / polishing would be on us. You can also email us for a quote on a discounted a pre-paid FedEx insured label.
What is covered under the lifetime warranty?
At DreamStone we stand behind our jewelry. We manufacture all of our fine jewelry from start to finish in our own manufacturing facilities. With an obsession for details, each piece is handcrafted to perfection by our seasoned jewelers using the highest quality materials. With are commitment to ensuring the quality of your purchase, we will repair any manufacturing defects at the time of delivery. If you have any problem not covered under our lifetime warranty, you can send us your jewelry for inspection. We will evaluate any necessary repairs and if any charges apply, we will notify you first and discuss all options. All of our diamond jewelry is manufacturer from start to finish right on our own facilities. Once your order is complete, it goes through a thorough quality check inspection - after a final approval it is neatly packaged in our distinctive jewelry box and shipped fully insured to your home or business, free of charge. We stand behind everything we sell and warrant that all items will be free from any manufacturing defects. If there is a problem with an item, it can be mailed back to our office for inspection. If we find that the problem is from a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the item at no charge to you. If the damage is caused by normal wear-and-tear, then we will repair your jewelry at-cost. You may also return your jewelry to our offices for free prong tightening, re-polishing, rhodium plating and cleaning for the life of your fine jewelry. Can I buy an extended service plan?

Yes, DreamStone offers a 3 year extended service plan.* Extended Service Plan term is for three years from the date of purchase and provides the following coverage:

• FREE stone-stone replacement for accidental loss or damage to stone, with a stone of comparable size and quality to the original if the side-stone falls out and is lost. (Does not include the center diamond).

• FREE Inspections of jewelry. Inspection includes having prongs and settings checked.

• FREE re-tipping of prongs that need to be repaired

• FREE resetting of side-stones that have fallen out.

• FREE Cleaning of your jewelry.

• FREE Unlimited ring sizing.

• FREE Restringing of Pearl Strands.

• Clasp and chain repair.

• Shank repair.

Do you insure jewelry?

While we offer repair and cleaning services, we aren't an insurance company. We do partner with Jewelers Mutual and My Zillion to help our customer insure their jewelry. All jewelry purchased through DreamStone include a free appraisal which you can use to insure your jewelry with either of these companies or chose whichever insurance company you prefer to work with.
If I own my diamond , can I set my diamond in a DreamStone setting?

Yes, we can customize any of our settings to the exact measurements of your diamond and ship it to you or directly to the diamond dealer you're working with. We can also set your diamond for you at no charge. One of our staff members will be happy to guide as to the next steps in getting your diamond shipped to us.

I already have a setting, can I buy just the loose diamond from DreamStone?

Yes, all our certified diamonds are available for sale as loose diamonds. We can ship your diamond with free FedEx shipping to you along with the certificate grading report and insurance appraisal, or if you prefer we can ship the diamond directly to the jeweler you is making your setting.
Is the name DreamStone going to be engraved on the inside of my setting like I see in the images and videos of your website?

No, the DreamStone logo you see in videos and images online are just to protect our copyrighted content. We do not actually engrave DreamStone on the inside of our rings. The only stamp you'll see is the metal the ring is made of.
Is your Design Your Own Ring considered a "special order" and do they include your 30-day money back guarantee?

All our fine jewelry, engagement rings, and loose diamonds come with a 30-day money back guarantee. Designing your own ring does not make it a special order and qualifies for our 30-day money back guarantee. Special orders are custom designs not carried on the DreamStone.com website.

Can I order on your website?

Yes, you can order directly on DreamStone.com and checkout using any of our secured payment methods. You can order any fine jewelry, setting, loose diamond, or design your complete ring online and we'll send you a detailed confirmation of your order and the FedEx tracking number as soon as it ships.
What if I need help placing an order?

Once I finally place an order, what happens next?

We're dedicated to providing quality products and exceptional customer service. Since we take pride in every product that leaves our warehouse, you can be assured that we take great care of every order that is placed. From the moment you place your order the DreamStone staff starts working hard for you.

Order Confirmation

After you place your order, an e-mail will be sent to you listing the item(s) in your order, the form of payment used, and the method of shipping selected. Before your order is built, the DreamStone staff will carefully review your order slip and if something seems incorrect we will call or e-mail you immediately to address any potential problems.


The manufacturing begins once your order has been confirmed. DreamStone builds every order using the specifications our customers have either requested or chosen. We build your order according to the type of metal, stone(s), style, size you selected. The manufacturing process lasts 2-3 weeks depending on how specific your order is. To maintain our standard of quality, every piece of your order is hand selected by our experienced DreamStone team and then set and molded by our skillful jewelers who have been in the jewelry business for more than 40 years. After your order is built, it goes through a rigorous quality inspection process. DreamStone is dedicated to surpassing the service and product quality you expect.

Guaranteed Quality

Your order, along with it's certificate & appraisal goes through a verification and inspection process to ensure the best quality possible. If there was a specific size requested, that is also checked to ensure that you receive your order ready to wear. If stones are part of your order, each stone is carefully examined for proper and stable setting. DreamStone even goes as far as inspecting the polish quality of the metal you have chosen.

What if I need my ring resized?

Resizing is common and we provide you with a stress-free policy: we offer one free resizing within the first year of your order. Simply email us at service@dreamstone.com or call us at 1-800-818-8386 and a staff member will schedule a time for you drop off your ring and get properly sized if necessary at one of our office locations. We can also provide you with a free FedEx label to ship your ring to us for resizing within the US and Canada. All other countries are subject to a $50 shipping charge. All resizing include a free polishing and cleaning.
How long does resizing take?

Resizing typically takes 2 business days. You can ship your ring to our New York headquarters and we'll ship it back to you. All resizing included a free polishing. We offer free resizing within the first year of your purchase including free shipping. If you're past the first year, and you require a FedEx shipping label we can provide you a pre-paid label at discounted FedEx rate. If you have the ability to drop off your ring in person, you can schedule an appointment to drop off your ring at our New York office and one of our staff members will measure your accurate ring size.
Do you offer custom work?

Yes absolutely! We actually specialize in custom work. You can send a picture of your favorite ring design and we will duplicate it. We use state-of-the-art technology to create a custom CAD to the exact proportions of your center diamond and design details. We then send you several digital 3D images of the model for your approve. Once approved we print the wax and create a silicon mold which we send to casting. Once casting is complete, we pre polish the ring, calibrate all the side diamonds by hand and send everything to our setter for mounting. As a final step, we polish and send your order to quality control for approval before preparing your shipment.
Can I engrave my ring?

Yes, we offer free engraving. You can simply add your preferred engraving in the special instructions box at checkout or email us your engraving and we'll add it to your order. Typical engraving fonts are script or block letter, but we can accommodate many other fonts should you require, just let us know. Engraving should be limited to about 20 characters.
